The BÜHNi unplugged project combines live music, intimate discussions and fine dining in a unique setting. Led by Christoph Urech and supported by a dedicated core team, the event showcases hand-picked artists in an exceptional atmosphere that fosters a close connection between artists and audience. With its roots in Switzerland, BÜHNi unplugged emphasises personal, memorable experiences over mass entertainment, demonstrating the importance of community and cultural enrichment through collaborative events. The project draws on a strong network of partners and experts to deliver exceptional, bespoke experiences.
There are no BÜHNi events planned at the moment. About half of the seats are reserved by invitation only. A number of tickets are available for each event, depending on the capacity of the venue. These are sold through the acts network in person or online. The price varies according to the concept.
BÜHNi Unplugged features a band to enhance the live music experience and create a dynamic, collaborative atmosphere. The band brings a rich, acoustic sound that complements the platform's goal of fostering connections through music. It supports the performances, creating an engaging environment that draws in audiences while maintaining the intimate, unplugged feel. The band's presence also encourages interaction between artists, entrepreneurs, and cultural enthusiasts, reinforcing the event's mission as a networking platform where people, culture, and business intersect through live performances.
BÜHNi Unplugged is a unique networking platform that brings together people, culture, and business, with live acoustic performances at its core. It creates a space for local artists to showcase their talent in an intimate, relaxed setting, fostering creativity and community. While the live performances take center stage, the event also offers opportunities for networking, collaboration, and cultural exchange. BÜHNi Unplugged merges the worlds of art and business, making it a hub for creative professionals, entrepreneurs, and audiences to connect and engage.
Andreas Kühnrich, musician, and Christoph Urech, entrepreneur, had the idea for BÜHNi unplugged after the wedding reception (of Christoph and his wife Corina) in autumn 2017 on a hayloft in Höfen.Andreas gave a small concert with his band as part of the wedding ceremony in September 2017. The acoustics in the hayloft and the atmosphere were very good (despite the cold) and this fact inspired the two of them to create the BÜHNI unplugged concept. The concept for a company event for employees and customers of the acts group consists of a live concert with well-known musicians in a very personal atmosphere, with some surprising renditions of well-known hits by the musicians and a personal chat with the star. The guests should experience the artists up close and be ‘part’ of the stage, which is also helped by the room-filling, direct sound system.
In addition to the special acoustic experience, the star guest will perform his well-known songs with the BÜHNi unplugged band. This creates new, unique versions, which are interpreted with classical instruments or surprising instrumentation, for example.
Some songs (the star guest knows which ones in advance) will be completely and exclusively rearranged by the BÜHNi unplugged band. The star guest will hear these arrangements for the first time shortly before the event and will reinterpret his song at that moment. The star guest's spontaneity and creativity will therefore also be tested.
The first concert took place in 2018 with SINA and Liam Spychiger in a hayloft in Höfen and was a great success.
Musician Andreas Kühnrich and entrepreneur Christoph Urech had an initial, not yet concrete idea for concerts in a special setting after Christoph and his wife Corina's wedding reception, which took place on a hayloft in Höfen.
The further development of this initial idea into the final BÜHNi unplugged concept was creative and inspiring for both initiators. As it turned out, the two different characters complemented each other perfectly.
